Personal Projects

Learning to photograph without the technological advances of my digital camera has been a fun challenge. My weekends are often spent strolling through an antique mall or market, so it was only natural for me to start collecting old cameras and researching the great photographers of the past.

In the hopes of connecting with the heritage of photography, I’ve been experimenting with both 35 mm and medium format film cameras. It’s been wonderful to embrace the slower pace of savoring each scene. But, I’ll still be browsing the antique stands, hoping to find a deal on a half-frame camera to add to my collection.
