As a traveler, I’ve been welcomed into more than 50 countries and am excited to explore many more. I’ve been lucky in that my work frequently brought me across the continent of Africa, but after multiple visits, Tanzania, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Tunisia, and Djibouti all have a piece of my heart. I also spent three wonderful years living in the Netherlands.

One of my proudest moments was as a peregrina, or pilgrim, arriving in Santiago de Compostella, Spain after 12 days along the Camino Portugues from Porto, Portugal in October 2019.

My other passion is nature and wildlife. I hope to visit all of the US National Parks someday.
